• We are so pleased with the loft conversion that George Hicks and Sons did for us in the summer, the craftsmanship and attention to detail is faultless and this major alteration to our Victorian house seems to blend in and has not changed the overall feel and style of the property, George Hicks and Sons have an obvious understanding and respect for older properties. Steve, Jamie and Lee are completely professional and extremely understanding and sensitive, this made it possible during the building work for us to live a (nearly!) normal life with our two very young children – our three year old really missed them when they had finished and still talks about them! The job was started and completed on the exact dates specified in the original agreement and Steve and Jamie took great care to leave the house very clean and tidy. They even looked after our rabbit when we were away! I would recommend them without hesitation.

• G Hicks and Sons started work on a 6 month project to transform our house, building a new extension and changing internal walls and doors. Throughout the project communication was excellent with Steve ensuring that we, the architect and all the subcontractors knew exactly what was happening and when.
